Hello fellow Canadians. I am from Saskatchewan. Started in portrait photography. I have no idea where I am on the learning curve but I consider myself a serious amateur. I currently shoot with a Nikon Z5 with a 24-200mm F4-f6.3 lends. I am located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and I like to head out to conservation areas and the Bruce Trail.

I accidentally stumbled upon this fella, likely no more than an hour or so old – there were three siblings still within the nest. Photographed them for a few minutes then left them alone. Hello from Sun City West, AZ. I’m new to the group. Thought I’d start out sharing a photo taken from the patio of our house. This Northern Flicker lives in the palm tree in my backyard. On this occasion, he was visiting the Jerusalem Thorn tree on the patio on the side of our house.
