<p>I just joined this group and am sharing a few photos from my trip to the beach yesterday.  I shoot with an A7RV and my lens is a 200-600 normally but these were taken with my 70&#8211;300 because I broke my left thumb and am not supposed to use that hand.  I got approval for the lighter lens, though so I am happily back to photographing birds!</p>

I wasn&#8217;t satisfied with the reach so bought the Son 2X teleconverter. <p>This was taken as evening was falling and the Leopard was crossing the rivver for his evening hunt. </p>

<p>Really enjoy the small size and 600 mm equivalent optical zoom but it has limitations in lower light conditions and resolution.</p>
<p>Really notice the limitations photographing owl nests&hellip;</p>
