<p>I&#8217;ve been luck and have encountered otters at 3 different locations/days this winter.</p>
<p>These otters were on the edge of an ice shelf, 12 meters away from me with the</p>
<p>wind in my face.  They were feeding on small yellow perch and mussels under the ice.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This Pipevine Swallowtail is nectaring on Red-whiskered &#8216;Clammyweed&#8217;, Polanisia dodecandra, a plant native to most of the U.S.  I bought this plant at a native plant sale on a whim, and I&#8217;m sure glad I did!  It was named the 2024 Texas native plant of the year. Tough and easy to grow, in a Texas study at least 50 species of butterfly were&hellip;</p>
